Eaquals (Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services, eaquals.org) is the leading professional association for language education throughout the world. Founded in 1991, it has more than 140 accredited members and 30 associate members from about 40 countries worldwide. Eaquals exists to foster excellence in language education by providing practical guidance and support to teaching institutions and individual professionals.
Accredited Members are language centres of all types of teaching courses in any language. Eaquals accredits university language centres as well as private training institutions. Eaquals Accredited Members have achieved high international standards and are committed to continuous improvement.
Accreditation is only awarded after a comprehensive and rigorous quality assurance process, including an on-site inspection, repeated every four years. Only institutions that fully comply with the demanding Eaquals Quality Standards can be accredited and display Eaquals logo.
Associate Members are national and international organisations with considerable involvement and professional achievement in the field of language learning. Associate Members share the Eaquals commitment to quality, take an active part in our projects and bring a wealth of professional expertise to Eaquals network.
These include important associations of language centres, leading language examination providers, publishers and national accreditation bodies, such as the British Council, Cambridge English Language Assessment, Goethe Institut, Instituto Cervantes, Oxford University Press, Pearson, Trinity College, and others.
